Experienced Tax Senior Manager / Partner required to join a top 50 Accountancy Practice based in Stoke. This is a full-time, permanent position, Monday - Thursday 09.00 - 17.30 (early finish on Friday), which offers hybrid working after a successful probation period, as well as a salary up to £80,000 and equity shares in the business.
This is a hands-on tax role, managing a portfolio of predominantly personal tax clients, offering a mix of advisory and compliance services, whilst also leading a team.
The practice seeks someone to take over the Tax department and build on recent successes.
Tax Manager Job Overview
1. Preparing and finalizing detailed personal tax returns.
2. Overseeing P11D submissions and providing comprehensive tax advice to clients.
3. Supervising and mentoring junior team members, including reviewing their work and supporting their professional development.
4. Managing client relationships, participating in meetings, and delivering strategic tax planning insights.
5. Contributing to advisory projects involving succession planning, corporate restructuring, and other strategic initiatives.
Tax Manager Job Requirements
* Qualified by experience within a tax role, or working towards ACCA / CTA / ATT qualification (or qualified).
* At least 5 years' experience in a similar role.
* Experience leading and developing a team.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Tax Manager Salary & Benefits
* £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
