Our client is looking for a Sr. Atlassian Administrator (Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, and Jira Product Discovery) to serve as the primary contact and support for Atlassian users.

Overview:

As the Atlassian Administrator, you will be responsible for a suite of Atlassian Enterprise tools, including Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, and Jira Product Discovery. As a Certified Atlassian Administrator, you are adept at ensuring the technical integrity of the systems and will serve as the primary contact and support for our Atlassian users, leveraging your application expertise. You will collaborate with internal partner teams to ensure seamless integrations, consistent system integrity, and continuous maturation of our Atlassian landscape. Your responsibilities will include implementing and refining established standards and best practices.

Must Have's:

1. 7+ years of Deep expertise in administering Atlassian products; Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence
2. Experience creating and managing projects, workflows, issue types, schemes, custom fields, and permissions
3. Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, to recognize and resolve complex issues and devise creative solutions
4. Data reporting, visualization & dashboarding tools
5. ServiceNow knowledge and experience with integrating other tools with Atlassian App

Responsibilities:

All work that relates to supporting and administering Atlassian Suite of tools. Including but not limited to:

6. Own the operational excellence of entire Atlassian Enterprise suite (Jira, Confluence, JSM, JPD) as the primary system administrator.
7. Drive system integrity through full-cycle administration, including license management, robust troubleshooting, and project/scheme customization.
8. Manage innovation by controlling the Jira Sandbox environment—scheduling PoCs, evaluating system impact, and delivering go/no-go recommendations for new capabilities.
9. Plan and execute all system updates, upgrades, and new integrations with clear communication across the organization.
10. Serve as the central Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing expert escalation support to distributed Jira Administrators and mentoring users.
11. Build capability by developing and delivering training programs for users and strategic internal partners.
12. Optimize the technology landscape by supporting the rationalization of duplicative tooling and implementing established best practices and standards.
13. Partner with the IT Owner to fulfill strategic application governance and IT ownership responsibilities.
14. Foster community and engagement by overseeing the 'Atlassians client chat rooms.
