This role is pivotal in advancing sustainability and compliance standards within this ambitious project.
Role
We are seeking an Environment and Sustainability Reporting Manager to join our ESG team. The key responsibilities include:
1. Implementing ESG Compliance Strategies: Supporting the development and alignment of ESG initiatives with strategic and technical goals, ensuring compliance with legal, company, and regulatory standards.
2. Driving Continuous Improvement: Conducting internal audits and utilizing data-driven insights to enhance sustainability practices and promote best practices across the program.
3. Promoting ESG Engagement: Contributing to recognition and incentive schemes, leading initiatives, and fostering an ESG culture within CWA.
4. Building Relationships: Maintaining effective communication with stakeholders and collaborating with the ESG Leadership Team to deliver training and competence development.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* Proven experience in the Civils/Utilities industry within an ESG or Environmental/Sustainability compliance role.
* Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to positively influence ESG initiatives.
* Experience implementing ISO 14001 and a solid understanding of the construction sector.
