Exit and Decommissioning Project Manager - Outside IR35
Contract Term: 10 months

As an Exit and Decommissioning Project Manager your main responsibilities will be to:
* Support the FCDO Exit Project Manager to deliver the smooth and controlled exit and termination of the Echo1 Contract.
* Engage, support and co-ordinate with the Exit Team and Exit Project Manager.
* Support the delivery of the Echo1 exit strategy.
* Support the commercial team to ensure that exit obligations are met, and services and associated costs are ceased.
* Manage the removal and secure return of Echo1 equipment from sites across the globe to the UK.
* Manage the exit of Echo1 services in line with the Echo2 deployment plan.
* Work collaboratively with the ECHO2 team to deliver the incumbent dependencies that are required to support the ECHO2 Programme.
* Project and work package delivery in accordance with ECHO2 programme standards
* Work with and manage stakeholders including FCDO, FCDO Services, British Council, Partner Organisations and Suppliers.
* Ensure that suppliers adhere to service exit, project delivery and RAID Echo2 Programme and Industry standards.
* An active SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this position, as a minimum you must be eligible and willing to undergo these checks.
* Experience of exiting a supplier from a large and complex multi service contract.
* Experience supporting the transition of large and complex IT projects.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills and experience.
* The ability to act with minimum supervision and to deliver to schedule whilst balancing multiple priorities.
* Microsoft Office suite skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, MS-Project and Visio.
* Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with suppliers, colleagues and system users at all levels.
* Public Sector experience.
* Familiarity with IT network engineering and racking and stacking of network equipment (WAN, Wi-Fi, Internet, firewalls, routers).
* Experience in management of network refreshes/upgrades.
* Ability to read, understand and interpret network diagrams.
