Protective Care Group is offering a unique opportunity for an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join our growing, purpose-led organisation that supports young people with complex needs and challenging behaviour. Our Senior HR Advisor will be:
* Advising and supporting managers across the group on all things employee relations including performance, engagement, absence, leadership and change management
* Managing complex ER cases, including safeguarding, with confidence and care
* Leading on disciplinaries, grievances, and mediation with empathy and effectiveness
* Ensuring consistent, fair application of HR policies and best practices
* Collaborating on exciting HR projects and policy improvements
* Partnering other departments across the organisation to support the delivery of onboarding, talent development and offboarding
Our Senior HR Advisor will have:
* Proven experience working in an Senior HR Advisor role within an industry that has allowed you to gain practical knowledge and experience in safeguarding
* Proven experience of confidently managing complex ER cases, including safeguarding
* CIPD Level 5 Qualification or equivalent
* Strong demonstrable application and knowledge of UK employment law
* Confidence in supporting, coaching, and advising Managers in HR best practice
* Comfortable working independently and adaptability in a fast-paced and evolving environment
* Values a creative, solutions-focused approach
This is a full time role based on-site at our office in Sunderland, 37.5 hours per week, worked Monday - Friday.

* Competitive salary of £38,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience)
