Job Title: Chef de Partie - Staff Feeding

Salary up to £28500 Monday to Friday - 35 hours 7am til 3pm

Location: Scottish Event Campus (SEC), Glasgow

Role Overview

As a Chef de Partie - Staff Feeding, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, nutritious, and consistent meals for Levy and venue colleagues. This is a hands-on role focused on fresh food preparation, high standards, and smooth service, supporting the wider culinary team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver fresh, balanced, and appealing staff meals in line with Levy standards
Lead a section within the staff kitchen, ensuring food quality, consistency, and presentation
Support menu planning with a focus on nutrition, variety, dietary requirements, and sustainability
Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards at all times
Monitor stock levels, minimise waste, and follow correct storage and rotation procedures
Support junior kitchen team members, offering guidance and day-to-day supervision
Work collaboratively with front and back of house teams to ensure smooth service
Assist with cleaning schedules and kitchen organisation
Adapt menus and production levels to fluctuating staff numbers and event demands

Skills & Experience
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up
Experience in high-volume catering, staff dining, or contract catering preferred
Strong knowledge of food safety, allergens, and hygiene standards
Passion for fresh food and consistent, well-executed meals
Organised, reliable, and able to work under pressure
A positive team player with good communication skills
Level 2 Food Safety (or willingness to complete)
