An opportunity has arisen for a Diagnostic Technician with 2 years’ experience to join a well-established car dealership with a strong reputation for customer service and has received multiple industry awards for excellence.
As a Diagnostic Technician, you will be carrying out diagnostics, servicing, and repairs across a range of vehicles in a busy and professional workshop environment. This full-time role offers a salary range of £25, - £45, and benefits.
You will be responsible for:
1. Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical vehicle issues
2. Performing electronic visual health checks (eVHC)
3. Completing repair work to industry and manufacturer standards
4. Ensuring accurate and thorough documentation for all jobs
5. Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient workspace
6. Staying up to date with the latest diagnostic and repair techniques through ongoing training
What we are looking for:
7. Previously worked as a Diagnostic Technician, Senior Vehicle Technician, Senior Vehicle Mechanic, Car Mechanic, Car Technician or in a similar role.
8. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or an equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
9. Ideally have experience working in a dealership.
10. EV qualification is advantageous (training can be provided)
11. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
12. Valid UK driving licence
