Detailed job description and main responsibilities Please refer to the job description and person specification attached to the advert for the full details Person specification Training & Qualifications Essential criteria NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management or equivalent Desirable criteria Recognised fire safety qualifications as per HTM 05-01 guidance Qualification in a relevant building or engineering discipline (e.g., HNC/HND in Building Services, Fire Engineering, or similar). Membership with a relevant professional body (e.g., Institute of Fire Engineers) Experience Essential criteria Experience in a fire safety role, preferably in a healthcare or similarly complex environment Experience of working in the NHS and at a large Trust with multiple buildings and sites. Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and healthcare-specific guidance such as HTM applicable to fire safety & the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Proven experience of working to deadlines Desirable criteria Experience in liaising with external bodies, such as the Fire and Rescue Service. Experience of working in the NHS and at a large Trust with multiple buildings and sites.
