Working at a newly refurbished Hyde Depot, you will be a skilled HGV Technician. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be adept at maintaining and repairing heavy goods vehicles. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to ensuring the safety and efficiency of our customers fleets.Duties Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on HGVs to ensure compliance with safety standards. Diagnose faults and perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time taken for repairs. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance schedules.Requirements NVQ L3 HGV Vehicle Maintenance and Repair / Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in HGV maintenance and repair. Familiarity with electrical systems in HGVs is advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
