You will be working in the Building Services OU based in 51 Moorgate where we are responsible for creating healthy workplaces, comfortable homes and efficient facilities that improve people’s lives. We are currently looking for a PFI Strategy Specialist who will be responsible for guiding the approach to PFI Handback preparation across the PFI and long term FM contracts portfolio. Security clearance will be required.
As the PFI Strategy Specialist, you will
* Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of handback of FM projects to ensure timely and efficient completion with understood and costed residual risk.
* Guide individual project teams to ensure all aspects of handback delivery, including budgets, resources, timelines and the collection and submission of documentation meet project deliverables.
* Support the review of contracts and other legal documents, identifying contractual and commercial risks and producing mitigation strategies to protect the business.
* Engage with operational and commercial management to ensure contractual requirements are understood and delivered; and that full Skanska entitlement is recovered.
* Proactively work to improve contractual and commercial processes across Building Services portfolio, both MEP and FM sectors, to promote lessons learnt / best practice and enhance understanding throughout the operating unit of commercial, contractual and governance processes.
We are looking for
* Expertise in PFI contract principles, obligations, stakeholder responsibilities, and contract analysis.
* Extensive experience in managing stakeholder groups, particularly in commercial settlements and negotiations.
* Familiarity with government business case processes, including Value for Money assessments.
* Ability to hold and maintain UK Security Clearance – minimum 5 years UK residency required.
* Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to clearly communicate and present complex concepts concisely.
