Overview
The Department of Computer Science, University of Oxford, is looking for a Research Associate in Computational Methods for Climate and Child Health. The post-holder will be based in the Department of Computer Science and a core member of the newly established Oxford Martin School Programme on Climate and Child Health. Reporting directly to Professor Seth Flaxman (Department of Computer Science) and Dr Neil Hart (School of Geography and the Environment) and collaborating closely with Professor Lucie Cluver (Department of Social Policy and Intervention), you will help lead an ongoing multi‑year programme of methodological research linking climate science directly with child health and well‑being. The programme is a partnership between the Oxford Martin School and Oxford Global Health, working with UNICEF, the World Health Organization, the World Food Programme and the World Meteorological Organization, alongside humanitarian agencies across Africa.
