BMI UK&I have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Customer Service - Digital Transformation Specialist to join our team in Milton Keynes. Reporting directly to the Head of Customer Services, you will be at the forefront of our digital enhancements, transforming how we manage orders.


Role Summary
Efficient order management is a key driver of customer satisfaction and process efficiency. BMI is committed to embracing digital innovations to enhance our customer service operations. To drive our digital transformation initiatives within the customer service department, we are seeking a skilled Digital Transformation Specialist.

As the Digital Transformation Specialist, your key responsibilities will be to:

1. Develop and execute project plans for the implementation of digital order processing solutions, ensuring timely delivery and minimal disruption.

2. Align with internal stakeholders to build the plans and the implementation roadmap.

3. Communicate the transformation journey and target picture within the entire organisation.

4. Map process workflows incorporating changes and roles & responsibilities.

5. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure smooth integration of digital solutions into the order management ecosystem.

6. Train customers & internal stakeholders on the new technologies and processes ensuring they are proficient in utilising new digital tools and workflows.

7. Monitor the performance of digital order processing systems, addressing any issues promptly and continuously seeking improvements.

8. Gather and analyse data related to order processing metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for further enhancement.

9. Be the first point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders regarding digital order processing solutions.

10. Drive adoption improvements and new initiatives.

11. Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies related to order processing and digitalisation.

Your key skills and experience will include:

12. Proven track record in process optimisation and digital transformation, specifically within order management or related areas.

13. Strong understanding of order processing workflows and the role of digital tools in enhancing operational efficiency.

14. Proficiency in utilising digital tools and systems, including order management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

15. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

16. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across different teams.

17. Project management skills to lead digital transformation projects from inception to completion.

18. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy.

19. Adaptability to changing technologies and a fast-paced work environment.

20. Confident communicator and facilitator with a talent for engaging and inspiring others.

21. Positive, proactive, and solutions-focused.

22. Collaborative and team-spirited – you thrive in a dynamic, people-centric environment.

23. Curious and growth-minded – always looking for better ways to support your team and improve the customer experience.
