Experienced Social Worker in the Children's Assessment Service.

The Role:
As an experienced Social Worker within the Children's Assessment Service, you will advocate for the children and young people of East Riding. You will create an environment that supports relational practice, bringing creative and innovative approaches. You will conduct holistic assessments and collaborate with partner agencies and family networks, ensuring children and young people are at the heart of practice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Building relationships and engaging with children and families.
* Conducting assessments and evaluating the needs of children and their families.
* Applying thresholds and knowledge of key policies, legislation, and social care reform.
* Maintaining timely and accurate records in accordance with practice standards.
* Creating and implementing support plans based on the individual needs of children and families.
* Regularly reviewing plans to reflect changes in the child's or family's situation.
* Collaborating with partner agencies to understand the child's lived experience.
* Advocating for children and families, ensuring their voices are heard and rights protected.
* Prioritising work based on needs and risks to children and young people.
* Taking accountability and responsibility for work undertaken and engaging in regular reflective supervision.

* You must be qualified in social work (registered with Social Work England) and have relevant experience.
