Business Development Executive Key Responsibilities: Drive new business development and foster long-lasting client relationships across the UK Take full ownership of your diary, strategically planning and conducting visits to potential clients Execute and support the company’s strategic sales plan, consistently meeting targets and expanding the client base Provide timely, accurate visit reports and updates to ensure continuous growth and performance Collaborate with the Head of Sales to ensure all quotes align with company costing procedures Identify new business opportunities that complement the company’s design and manufacturing capabilities Manage and grow key accounts as directed, ensuring excellent service and retention Contribute to the creation and execution of a marketing strategy to support business growth and financial targets What We’re Looking For: Proven track record in business development within the plastic moulding sector, with a focus on injection moulding Strong technical knowledge of tooling design and component design for plastic moulding A deep understanding of polymers and injection moulding processes Experience working with industries such as automotive, healthcare, agriculture, construction, and more Familiarity with thermoset/Moulding structural foam processes is a plus Expertise in post-moulding operations, including cosmetic finishing (painting) and assembly is desirable Ability to prepare detailed, costed quotes in line with company policies Proficiency in CRM systems and reporting tools A motivated, ambitious individual eager to take the next step in your career Desirable Business Development Executive Qualifications: Background in technical sales or business development within the plastic moulding industry Ideally educated to HND level or equivalent Experience in account planning, development, and execution Strong communication and presentation skills Demonstrated leadership abilities and the capacity to translate sales strategies into action If you’re ready to take on an exciting and rewarding challenge, and you have the passion and drive to make a real impact, we want to hear from you!
