More about the young person This person is a delightful, articulate and sociable young lady who suffers from cerebral palsy, some visual impairment, epilepsy, infantile spasms and infantile strabismus and hypertropia. She attends mainstream school. She moves around using her crutches, walking frame, wheelchair or crawling. Support Required: This person needs support with accessing SDR therapy once a month (some weekends) and accessing activities of interest in her local community, including swimming. Experience and Skills: Experience working with children with disabilities or additional needs is essential. Patience, empathy, and a supportive approach are key. Other Requirements: Must be able to travel to and from activities. Hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle. Ideally local to the Portishead/Nailsea area.
