Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a fast growing Manufacturing business. This role offers remote working options (2 days a month in the office) and significant exposure to senior stakeholders across the business.
Responsibilities
* Manage a team of 3.
* Prepare monthly management accounts for UK and EU divisions.
* Prepare monthly consolidation of European companies across multiple divisions for both local and group reporting.
* Oversee the preparation of monthly project costing, recharges and comparison to budget with variance analysis.
* Prepare weekly cashflows for subsidiaries .
* Prepare monthly reporting packs and balance sheet including accrual and prepayments.
* Prepare VAT returns
* Assisting in annual audit process.
* Reporting on inventory, including tracking qualities, values and locations.
* Prepare budgets and forecasts
* Provide analysis on cost centres
* Ensuring compliance with financial internal controls and policies are maintained across the board.
* Identifying and driving process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports.
Requirements:
* Qualified accountant ACCA / ACA / CIMA
* Previous experience of managing a team
* Previous experience of Inventory reporting
* Advanced Excel and experience of using ERP systems.
* A minimum of 3-5 years' experience of managing full production of management accounts in fast growing companies.
