Are you passionate about supporting children in their learning and development? A welcoming primary school is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, term-time only basis.
This role is perfect for someone with childcare experience who is enthusiastic, patient, and keen to make a positive impact in the classroom.
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils across the school. You may be working in a general classroom support role or providing 1:1 support for children who need additional help.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the class teacher with daily classroom activities
Assisting pupils with their learning, ensuring they are engaged and progressing
Offering 1:1 support where required
Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
Supporting behaviour management and pastoral needs
Preparing learning materials and resources
Requirements
Experience working with children (school, nursery, childcare, youth work, or similar)
A warm, nurturing, and resilient approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
Teaching Assistant qualifications are desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
