Customer Service Administrator/Equipment Officer/Driver

* Salary: £13.14 per hour
* Hours: 37 hrs a week Monday – Friday (Office based / On the road)
My client based in Welwyn Garden City is seeking a versatile individual who thrives both in an office environment and out on the road. This mixed role is ideal for someone who enjoys the dynamic of handling customer service tasks and physically managing equipment deliveries and installations. The position offers a unique blend of duties that will keep your workday diverse and engaging.
Day-to-day of the role:
Customer Service Responsibilities:
* Make outbound calls to customers for servicing, repair, or delivery of equipment.
* Book couriers and manage deliveries.
* Respond to customer emails, which may sometimes involve sensitive matters.
* Perform general administrative duties including updating the database.
Equipment Officer/Driver Responsibilities:
* Physically fit to handle lifting and installation of equipment in service users' homes.
* Drive company vehicles to various locations as required.
* Ensure all equipment handling and installations are conducted safely and efficiently.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information.
* High attention to detail.
* A patient and empathetic approach to customer service.
* Proactive attitude, comfortable with both phone-based and in-person interactions.
* Must hold a valid driving licence and be capable of driving a company vehicle.
* Physical fitness, as lifting and equipment installation are required.
* Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
