Community Integrated Care is recruiting for a Senior Business Development Partner to join our team on a 12 month maternity cover contract covering our Midlands and Central business regions !
What is "The Deal" for you?
1. Flexibility!You can work your 37.5 hours over 4 days and enjoy a long weekend, or split the hours over 5 days to accommodate your other commitments. You can work from home, or from a regional office, or a flex between the two. There will be a requirement to travel to other locations throughout the midlands and support other regions when necessary.

Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:
Our business development team are looking for a positive, energetic and creative individual to take on the role of Senior Business Development Partner in our Midlands / Central region. We are a welcoming and supporting team who value fun, commitment and teamwork. The role is varied and challenging with the opportunity for flexible working (37.5 hours over 4 days).
Travel will be a requirement with this role as and as such you must be able to travel to services throughout East and West Midlands so the ideal candidate must live in the Midlands area and have a good working knowledge of the commissioning landscape in health and social care in the region.
In this role you will lead on regional development initiatives, partnership activities and innovation in a mission to deliver excellent, customer focused and cost-effective solutions and viable growth options across the Midlands region.
Day to Day:
There is no typical day as a Senior Business Development Partner! You will engage with a variety of stakeholders and partners to drive new social care developments delivering on the growth agenda for your region. You will be required to:
8. develop and present partnership proposals, working alongside the Director for Business Development to deliver bespoke bids, formal tenders and joint ventures where needed
9. manage a portfolio of relationships, which will include but not be limited to commissioners, housing associations, public sector and corporate organisations, private funders and investors
10. maintain a thorough understanding of the sector, local markets, government initiatives and competitors
11. progress diversification strategies and service redesign to meet the changing needs of the social care landscape and to help deliver 'best lives possible' for the people we support
12. engage with our funders to ensure that our services are sustainable and have opportunity for collaborative redesign; always striving to improve and create efficiencies
13. be a brand ambassador!

Skills and Experience
20. Have experience of business development in a social care organisation, ideally learning disabilities or mental health - this is essential
21. You will have experience of securing new business through competitive tendering
22. You'll need to be good with people, with the natural ability to lead, inspire, motivate and develop teams that you may not directly line manage
23. You are able to plan and organise a complex workload with shifting deadlines in order to meet specific targets
24. You’re experienced in managing budgets, financial planning and risk management
25. You have excellent knowledge of the care industry including regulatory and contractual frameworks, government legislation
