Job Description
I’m working with a PE-backed manufacturing organisation that is growing both organically and through acquisitions. They are now seeking a commercially minded accountant who can partner with the Sales team to drive growth and performance across the business.
Responsibilities include:
1. Partner with operational and commercial teams to provide financial insight that drives strategic decision-making and supports profitable growth.
2. Develop and maintain robust financial models to evaluate business performance, investment opportunities, and pricing strategies.
3. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes, ensuring alignment with PE-backed growth objectives.
4. Monitor and analyse key financial metrics, including revenue, margin, and cost drivers, to identify risks and opportunities.
5. Prepare and present monthly performance reports to senior leadership and PE investors, highlighting variances and actionable recommendations.
6. Support commercial negotiations by providing financial analysis on contracts, pricing, and customer profitability.
7. Drive cost optimisation initiatives across manufacturing and supply chain operations without compromising quality or service.
