Job Title: Senior Embedded & Electronics Engineer - Marine
Contract: 6 months, outside IR35, £50-£60 per hour, Bristol, 2 days a week on-site
Project:
Lead the end-to-end redesign and development of a marine mapping device, delivering both electronics hardware and embedded software with high reliability, real-time performance, and manufacturability in a safety-critical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Full electronics design: schematic capture, PCB layout, and validation testing.
Embedded firmware development in C for high-performance microcontrollers to achieve precise real-time control.
Implement advanced Ethernet communications and networked device interfaces.
Solve high-accuracy timing challenges, novel communications problems, and safety-critical system requirements.Skills:
