Are you passionate about fire safety? Do you thrive in a challenging and rewarding environment? Would you like to make a real difference in the lives of others? We are currently looking for a Fire Compliance Officer to join our busy team in Tongwynlais, Cardiff!
Hours of Work: 35 Hours / Permanent
As a Fire Compliance Officer, you will be the central point for procuring and managing cyclical maintenance contracts related to fire safety. Your primary focus will be on ensuring compliance through effective management of fire risk assessment programmes and producing essential management plans. This busy and varied role demands good technical knowledge, effective planning and organisational skills, and the ability to work independently while prioritising deadlines. You will be a key communicator and team player, equipped with strong IT skills.
Fire Compliance Officer Requirements
* Relevant fire safety qualification (HNC or equivalent NEBOSH, IOSH, IWFM).
* Proven experience in fire safety compliance and management.
* Experience implementing and monitoring annual and cyclical service programmes.
* Proficient in managing compliance databases and creating management plans.
* Full driving licence and access to a vehicle each working day.
