About the Role
As a key player in our Kier Places team, you will contribute to a significant 15-year partnership with L&Q, focusing on external wall remediation works as part of the Major Works Improvement Programme. Your expertise will help us deliver safe, high-quality outcomes for residents.
Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
* Manage commercial resources to achieve budgeted profitability on projects.
* Appoint subcontractors and place orders for materials and plant within delegated authorities.
* Measure and value work to support invoicing customers and paying suppliers.
* Propose and negotiate contract variations with customers and suppliers.
* Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and the supply chain to ensure successful project delivery.
What We’re Looking For
This opportunity is perfect for you if:
* You possess clear communication skills and thrive in collaborative environments with multidisciplinary teams.
* You have experience in a similar role, ideally with exposure to Building Safety Regulation works.
* You are organized, can prioritize effectively, and work well under deadlines.
* You hold relevant qualifications, such as a Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying.
* You are confident using IT packages, including Microsoft Office and bespoke software systems.
Working Conditions
This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week. Please note that we are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship for this role.
