Primary Teaching Assistant
Location: South Shields
Pay Scale: £80- £100 per day
Start: ASAP
Contract: Part-Time/Full-Time
GSL education is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated primary teaching assistant to join our school community in South Shields. This will be a unique opportunity for an individual looking to make a difference in young learners' lives through supporting primary education.
Job summary:
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be working alongside the class teacher to help deliver quality education to students at primary school. This involves assisting the teacher with classroom activities, supporting the children during their lessons, and creating a positive environment for their learning.
Key responsibilities:
* Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons.
* Help prepare and organize classroom materials and resources.
* Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
* Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing updates on students' progress and well-being.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with primary school children is preferred.
* Relevant qualifications in education or childcare.
* A proactive and adaptable way to deal with students.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
