A well-established and fast-paced food manufacturing business is looking to recruit an Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer to join its high-performing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern production environment with a strong focus on reliability and continuous improvement.
The Role
As part of the engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring maximum uptime across production through both reactive and planned maintenance.
Key responsibilities include:
Carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance
Responding quickly to breakdowns and fault finding on production machinery
Supporting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules
Working on a variety of automated and process machinery
Driving continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety standards
The Candidate
Strong electrical background with supporting mechanical skills
Experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment
Confident fault finding on electrical systems
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production setting
Relevant engineering qualifications xkybehq (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
