Are you passionate about making a real difference in patient care and staff safety? We’re looking for a dedicated Management of Violence and Aggression (MAV) Advisor to help shape and deliver essential training across our services.
In this exciting role, you’ll work closely with senior instructors and the PTU Manager to plan, implement, and develop innovative approaches to managing aggression and violence. Your expertise will empower our teams to use least restrictive practices and provide compassionate care, even in challenging situations.
You’ll also play a vital part in supporting the Community Dental Service, offering guidance to clinicians on patient management and assisting with safe clinical holding when needed, helping ensure dental care is delivered safely in both hospital and primary care settings.

* Champion positive approaches by exploring the root causes of distress and promoting alternative solutions.
* Build strong rapport with learners to create a safe, supportive learning environment.
* Promote equality and inclusion, ensuring anti-discriminatory practice is at the core of every session.
* Maintain safety standards—monitor and uphold healthy, secure working environments during training.
* Provide expert guidance and practical advice throughout sessions to reinforce best practice.
