What You'll Be Doing
As Plant & Fleet Manager, you'll be building and running a function that has four clear priorities:
* Securing the operator's licence for our newly acquired 32t
* Grab vehicles Scoping and implementing a vehicle and plant management system
* Running that system day to day once it's live
* Managing further plant acquisition and management of these as the business continues to grow
In your first 90 days, we'll expect you to:
* Hit the ground running: get to know the team and understand the business quickly
* Support the transition of plant management from a procurement function into a standalone team
* Manage and support the plant manager who currently looks after hire and smaller plant and some transport functions
* Commence and fulfil the operator's licence process
* Begin planning system build to milestones
What You'll Bring

* Experience running a vehicle operator's licence
* Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
* Proven experience managing vehicle and plant systems
* Strong track record of implementing management systems
A bonus if you have:
* Experience implementing an operator's licence from scratch, not just running one
