What are we looking for?
We’re looking for a strategic marketing lead to drive engagement, oversee marketing efforts, and support a team of volunteers. The ideal candidate will have experience in marketing, communications, and team coordination, with a passion for social impact, community-driven initiatives, and non-profit engagement.
Essential Skills & Experience
* At least three years of experience in marketing, communications, or digital engagement
* Ability to lead and coordinate marketing activities across multiple volunteers
* Strong communication and messaging skills to engage diverse audiences
* Experience with social media, website content, and digital marketing tools
* Understanding of community outreach, audience engagement, and behaviour change
* Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with teams across a non-profit environment
Desirable Skills (Not Essential)
* Experience in non-profits, social enterprises, or purpose-led organisations
* Familiarity with graphic design or website management tools
* Knowledge of marketing analytics and impact measurement
Personal Qualities
* Passionate about social impact, with a commitment to resource-sharing and community engagement
* Supportive leader comfortable mentoring volunteers and students
* Engaged communicator who enjoys connecting with businesses and communities
* Flexible and proactive, able to manage time effectively in a remote, voluntary role
What will you be doing?
The Marketing & Engagement Lead oversees marketing at RE(YOU)S, ensuring alignment in digital content, outreach, and engagement strategies to drive membership growth. They work with volunteers to support campaigns that promote membership and resource-sharing.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and oversee marketing strategies aligned with RE(YOU)S' goals.
* Coordinate volunteer marketing efforts and ensure messaging consistency.
* Support volunteers, including web content, copywriting, videography, and PR coordination.
* Guide campaigns for membership growth and collaborate with the PR and Events Coordinator.
Key Deliverables
* Boost sign-ups through strategic marketing.
* Maintain consistency and impact across engagements.
* Guide volunteers in executing campaigns.
Collaboration
Partner with PR & Events Coordinator, Website & Digital Content Coordinator, Copywriting & Content Coordinator, Community Outreach & Partnership Coordinator, and Fundraising & Sponsorship Coordinator.
This voluntary role requires 6-8 hours per week, offers flexibility, is remote, and encourages creative input. Volunteers have clear objectives while shaping marketing and engagement strategies, welcoming new ideas to expand the team.
