About the Role
As the Radiographer you will support and deliver high standard diagnostic imaging in the Cath Lab. You will maintain a high standard of imaging and patient care in accordance with departmental and hospital quality standards. Duties include but are not limited to:
* Perform all types of interventional radiology, cardiac and neuro procedures as required by referring physicians according to departmental policies and procedures.
* Demonstrate significant evidence of cardiac expertise and angiographic knowledge to meet the expectations of the interventional consultants.
* Accurately analyse the acquired data, record results and produce high quality images for reporting.
* Be fully conversant with the Radiology Management System, PACS, and the computerised method of patient and examination documentation.
* Have good understanding of clinical and non-clinical governance, and adhere to hospital governance policies.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Angiography specific radiology qualification/certificate (desirable)
* Relevant post-grad experience in an angiography lab (essential)
* PACS trained (essential)
* CT trained (essential)
* BSc or DCR in Radiography (essential)
* Registration with HCPC (essential)
