Senior Engineering Assembly Technician Our client, a successful manufacturing business close to Norwich, are currently seeking a Senior Engineering Assembly Technician to join their team, working alongside the Workshop Manager. This is a full time permanent position, based in Norwich. HOURS: Basic hours 8:00am – 17.00pm Mon – Fri lunch 1:00-1:30pm HOLIDAYS: 24 days per annum (3 or 4 days to be taken over Christmas shut-down), plus public holidays. QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS * Engineering Apprenticeship Level 3 or above. * 10+ years in mechanical engineering within a technical manufacturing environment * Understanding and experience of manufacturing processes and technical information. * Ability to present data effectively. * Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. * Understanding and experience of Health and Safety practices. * Able to commute reliably to office base. * Strong understanding of materials, machining, fabrication, and assembly processes. * Ability to work on custom, low-volume projects with tight deadlines. * Working knowledge of Microsoft packages – particularly Excel, Word, Internet and email. * Familiarity with ISO quality standards and CE/UKCA compliance.
