Supermicro is now looking for a highly experienced, successful and proven people manager and leader to build, develop and grow the newly formed EMEA Scalers Team. The Regional based either in the UKI or Germany will have the ownership of set team and customer segment including quota, opportunity pipeline, mss and brand adoption.
The focus of the team and this manager is to sell Supermicro's broad portfolio of data center products and solutions to and thru the identified EMEA / European wide customers and their end customers. The candidate should possess the expertise in managing people and end-to-end sales processes involving complex, multi-portfolio, large deals. The ideal candidate must have a strong, credible and professional working relationship experience with identified companies' executives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
1. Ownership of the EMEA GSI & RSI Scalers and the team servicing this customer segment.
2. Responsible for the assigned quote and management of the opportunity pipeline for this customer segment, growth plans and execution of set corporate strategy and actions.
3. Build and maintain a strong C-level relationship with the identified EMEA/European wide scalers.
4. Build, develop and nurture this newly assembled team to a strong success.
5. Continuously approach, build & drive SMC influence, brand name and adoption of technology & solutions to and thru the assigned customer segment in combination with other sales and technical resources.
Qualifications:
6. Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in leading people (7+) and teams within Scalers / VARs (e.g. Accenture, ATOS, Computacenter, SCC, Cancom etc.), business development, public/governmental/enterprise sales or similar field in the IT / datacenter segment.
7. Minimum 10+ years of proven individual contributor experience within the IT / datacenter segment.
8. Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field.
9. Strong manager and leader of people.
10. Strong team player & collaborator.
11. Strong persuasive and negotiating skills.
12. Extremely proactive, highly organized, with proven ability to manage multiple tasks.
13. Professionalism combined with a passion for creativity.
14. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and diverse culture.
15. Professional fluency in English is required, both written and spoken. Additional European language is a plus for this role.
