Summary
The Governing Body of St. Leonard's C of E Primary School is delighted to offer this exciting opportunity to work at our popular church school. We seek to appoint an outstanding Level 3 Teacher Assistant for our two SEND classrooms. These classrooms support pupils with EHCPs, including those with autism spectrum conditions, providing specialist and mainstream support as appropriate.
The successful candidate will be committed to enabling all pupils to develop their skills and reach their potential. They will be motivated, caring, and dedicated to supporting pupils with additional needs, working under the guidance of experienced teachers through whole class, group, and 1:1 support. The position is for 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.45am – 3.30pm.

Essential Qualifications
* Appropriate Level 3 qualification
* Knowledge of EYFS, KS1, and KS2 curricula and how to adapt them for pupils with SEND
* Knowledge of SEND, particularly ASC
Desirable Qualifications
* First Aid / Paediatric First Aid Certificate
Essential Experience
* Experience working with children in a school setting
* Ability to relate well to pupils
* Experience working as part of a team
* Strong commitment to punctuality and attendance
Desirable Experience
* Experience in administrative work
