To be part of the clerical team in Radiology, you will handle appointment bookings, general reception duties, and patient interactions primarily by telephone and occasionally in person. The role focuses on delivering the highest level of customer care and maintaining professional interactions with staff and patients.
Responsibilities
* Make appointment bookings for radiology services.
* Perform general reception duties as required.
* Deal with patient enquiries via telephone and in person.
* Ensure all patients receive high‑quality customer care.
* Maintain professional communication with staff and patients.
* Provide support to the Radiology Diagnostic Booking Centre at Epsom Hospital and attend St Helier site as needed.
* Work full‑time Monday‑Friday.
Qualifications
* Excellent communication skills.
* Proficiency in IT and keyboard skills.
* Experience with appointment booking and reception duties preferable (full training will be provided).
* Self‑motivated, hardworking, and eager to learn.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a large team.
Work Environment
The position is based at the Epsom Hospital Radiology Diagnostic Booking Centre, with occasional flexibility to attend St Helier as required. The role is part of the Radiology department within the St George’s, Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals and Health Group.
