The Phoenix is one of Newry's busiest venues, known for great pints, live music, and wall-to-wall sport on the big screens. Match days are some of our busiest shifts, with a buzzing crowd and an unbeatable atmosphere.
With outdoor events coming up too, we're adding to our team and looking for friendly, reliable bar staff to join us. You'll be the face of the bar – welcoming customers, serving drinks with a smile, and helping to keep things running smoothly.
Responsibilities
Serve drinks quickly and accurately while keeping high standards of customer service
* Handle cash and card transactions
* Check ID and follow licensing laws
* Keep the bar clean, tidy, and fully stocked
* Support your team during busy nights, sports fixtures, and events
What We're Looking For
Experience is preferred but not essential – full training will be given
* A positive attitude and good communication skills
* Ability to stay calm and organised in a fast-paced environment
* Reliability and willingness to work weekends (especially sport days)

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £10.00-£12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 20 per week
