The Role
As Café Administrator, you'll play a key part in ensuring the café runs efficiently behind the scenes. From handling administrative tasks to supporting stock management and liaising with staff, volunteers, and suppliers, you'll help create a positive and supportive environment for both the team and the community they serve.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing day-to-day administrative duties for the café
* Processing invoices, wages, orders, and supplier communication
* Supporting stock control and ensuring records are up to date
* Assisting with staff and volunteer scheduling/rota's
* Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with policies & procedure documents
* Acting as a point of contact for queries
* Occasional assistance within the cafe when staff are absent/during very busy periods
About You
We're looking for someone with:
* Previous administration experience (hospitality or charity sector desirable but not essential)
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* A proactive, flexible, and supportive approach
* Confidence using Microsoft Office and basic systems
* Hospitality experience is ideal
* A genuine interest in contributing to the charity's mission

The Details
* Contract: Part-time - Monday to Thursday 1:00pm until 5:00pm (16 hours per week) with paid overtime available. Initial 3 month fixed term contract to be reviewed at the end of this period.
* Location: Oswestry. Onsite free parking and a bus route that is located outside the premises.
