What will I be doing?
* As a Service Delivery Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in keeping our regional transport operations running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys responsibility, problem‑solving, and making a real impact on daily service delivery.
* You’ll lead and support our team of drivers, ensuring they have clear instructions, fair workloads, and the guidance they need to perform at their best.
* You’ll allocate work, monitor progress throughout the day, and carry out end‑of‑shift checks so we maintain high standards of service.
* You’ll also manage any grievance or disciplinary processes in a fair, consistent, and supportive way.
* Quality matters to us, so you’ll champion high standards in vehicle maintenance, driver checks, and operational compliance, always looking for ways to improve safety, efficiency, sustainability, and overall performance.
* Whether you’ve come from a logistics, transport, waste, or similar operational background, your attention to detail and people‑centred approach will help us deliver excellent service across the region.
* This role suits someone who enjoys working with others, values continuous improvement, and wants to build their leadership experience in a respected and growing organisation.
* We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and career stages — whether you’re progressing your transport career or looking for a new challenge with purpose.
What are the requirements/qualifications?
We’re looking for someone who brings:
* Strong communication skills, both face‑to‑face and in writing, with the ability to support, guide, and motivate others.
* Supervisory or team‑leader experience in transport, logistics, waste, or another operational environment.
* A friendly, approachable manner, and a collaborative, inclusive way of working.
* Good numerical and record‑keeping skills, with the confidence to handle queries and solve problems.
* A full UK driving licence (this is an essential requirement for the role).
We are committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels included and able to thrive. We actively encourage applications from people of all ages, identities, backgrounds, and experiences — including those who may be underrepresented in the transport and waste sectors.
If you need any reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process or in the workplace, we will be happy to support you.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your wellbeing and growth — including competitive pay, pension plans, health and wellbeing programs, learning opportunities, and career development.
