What You Will Do
As a Weld Inspector, your responsibilities will include:
Ensuring welds are completed in line with drawings and approved weld procedures.
Conducting weld visual fit-ups and verifying welding equipment.
Carrying out post-weld visual inspections to ensure quality requirements are met.
Defining and documenting rework and repair schemes where required.
Mentoring and providing constructive feedback to fitting and welding operators.
Performing departmental spot checks to support TPM and maintain NADCAP compliance.
Participating in investigations and supporting the implementation of corrective actions.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Preferred Qualifications
TIG welding experience with Aluminium, Stainless Steel, and Nickel Alloys (essential).
Minimum City & Guilds Fabrication and Welding qualification or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of weld measurement techniques and inspection equipment.
