We currently have an opportunity to join our Facilities Management team as a Multi-Skilled Electrician. This is a hands-on role with a focus on electrical installations, rewiring, testing, and repairs across a range of buildings and sites including council properties, town and parish buildings, and commercial facilities.
Location and hours: 37 hours per week, permanent contract. Based in Lowestoft, Suffolk NR32 2EF or Ufford, Suffolk IP13 6ET depending on applicant preference.
Responsibilities
* Carry out electrical installations, rewiring, testing, and repairs.
* Perform general maintenance tasks, from minor fixes to major refurbishments.
* Respond to emergency callouts as part of a rota system.
* Work across a wide range of buildings and sites, including council properties, town and parish buildings, and commercial facilities.
What you will need
* Fully qualified Electrician with knowledge of commercial and domestic maintenance work.
* Experience of inspection, fault finding and testing.
* Competent in at least one other trade.
* Proactive attitude towards health and safety.
* Good communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.
