- £45,000 Gatwick Airport Were recruiting for a Shift Engineer to join a leading Building Services provider at Gatwick Airport.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Shift Engineer looking for a rare day-shift only position at a high-profile and unique site.
Youll support the maintenance and smooth running of a major airlines offices, engineering areas, and aircraft hangars.
The Shift Engineer will play a key role in ensuring all building services and critical systems remain safe, compliant, and operational.
Key Responsibilities: Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) across electrical and mechanical systems Respond to reactive maintenance tasks to minimise downtime and disruption Fault-finding and diagnostics on a range of building services plant Support the operation and upkeep of systems such as: AHUs and FCUs Boilers and heating plant Chillers and cooling systems Pumps, motors, and valves HVAC controls and BMS systems Lighting, small power, and general electrical distribution Ensure compliance with safety procedures and statutory requirements Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and maintenance records Work closely with the on-site engineering team to deliver a high-quality service Requirements: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Strong background in building services maintenance Experience supporting PPM and reactive maintenance xjlbheb in commercial or industrial environments Confident fault-finding skills and the ability to work independently as a Shift Engineer Whats on offer: £43,000
