Overview
Are you passionate about engaging with young people and fostering faith within the Christian community? The Diocese of Ely is investing £4.36 million to transform market towns through the Changing Market Towns project, aiming to promote church growth and deepen faith through word, worship, and prayer. We are seeking an inspiring individual to lead youth ministry in Huntingdon and support the Thrive Youth Work project on a fixed-term basis, covering maternity leave.
Role Responsibilities
* Lead youth ministry in the Parish of Huntingdon as part of the Changing Market Towns Project.
* Support the Thrive Youth Work project, a missional youth initiative developed by the Diocese of Ely in partnership with local churches.
* Collaborate with church leaders and community workers to enable mission among young people.
Terms and Conditions
* Salary: £14,143 to £15,840 (pro-rata for part-time, equivalent to £27,500 to £30,800 full-time).
* Hours: 18 per week, including some evenings and weekends.
* Membership of The Church Workers Pension Fund (non-contributory).
* Contract: One-year fixed-term to cover maternity leave.
