Spanish Teacher – Secondary School, Bury

A secondary school in Bury is seeking to appoint a committed and suitably qualified Teacher of Spanish to join its Modern Foreign Languages department from September 2026.

Role and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Teaching Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 teaching may be available)
* Planning and delivering lessons that promote high standards of teaching and learning
* Assessing, monitoring, and supporting student progress in line with school expectations
* Contributing to the continued development of the MFL curriculum
* Upholding the school’s values and contributing to the wider life of the school community
Person Specification
Applicants must demonstrate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
* A relevant degree in Spanish or a related discipline
* Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom practice
* The ability to engage and motivate pupils of varying abilities
* A professional, reflective, and collaborative approach to teaching
