About The Role
Key Responsibilities
* Provide personal care, including assistance with washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
* Support with medication in line with care plans and company policies
* Assist with meal preparation, hydration, and light household tasks
* Provide companionship and emotional support
* Support individuals to attend appointments or access the community
* Follow individual care plans and update records accurately and on time
* Observe, monitor, and report any changes in health or wellbeing
* Maintain confidentiality and respect at all times
* Work in line with CQC standards, safeguarding policies, and health & safety procedures
* Communicate effectively with service users, families, and the wider care team
Person Specification
Essential:
* A caring, compassionate, and reliable nature
* Good communication skills in English
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to undertake training and development
* Right to work in the UK
* Driving licence and access to a vehicle
Desirable:
* Previous experience in care (not essential – full training provided)
* NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
