Adept Resourcing is recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing manufacturing business in Sheffield for a Laser CNC Operative. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team, and will be working on nights, Monday to Friday.
Salary:
* £16.50 - £17.50 per hour
Working Pattern:
* Nights
Location: Sheffield
Key Responsibilities:
* Check materials for size, thickness, and grade before cutting; report any quality concerns to the Team Leader
* Ensure components cut on the machine meet required quality standards
* Produce customer orders
* Complete job cards accurately, noting any special instructions
* Follow all machine and personal safety procedures
* Communicate relevant information to the next shift
* Box, bag, and palletise parts for dispatch
Requirements:
* Forklift truck licence for loading/unloading metal sheets
* Experienced using laser operated machines
* Strong understanding of quality procedures and customer specifications
* Ability to work effectively using own initiative
