Hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm | Friday 8am-2:30pm
Contract: Permanent | Full Time
Pay Rate: £ per hr + Bonus Scheme + Overtime
Staffline Recruitment Ireland is recruiting a Panel Wirer on behalf of Vertiv in Derry/Londonderry.
This permanent opportunity is ideal for an experienced Panel Wirer, Electrical Panel Builder or Electrical Assembly Technician seeking long-term career progression within a leading manufacturing environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for the electrical wiring and mechanical assembly of LV/MV switchgear and control panels, ensuring high-quality, safety-critical builds.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Electrical wiring of switchgear and control panels
2. Mechanical assembly of electrical components
3. Reading and working from engineering drawings and schematic diagrams
4. Building and fitting LV/MV assemblies
5. Panel testing, including current injection testing
6. Fault-finding and ensuring accurate electrical connections
Essential Criteria
7. Proven experience as a Panel Wirer or Electrical Panel Builder
8. Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams
9. Experience in LV/MV switchgear assembly
10. Mechanical assembly experience within manufacturing
11. Electrical testing and troubleshooting experience
12. Onsite installation or field service experience desirable
