About the School:

Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)/ PGCE in Secondary Education.
2. Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
3. Proven experience teaching Design and Technology at the A Level or equivalent level.
4. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for staying abreast of industry trends and advancements.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and engage students effectively.
6. A commitment to fostering inclusively, diversity, and equality within the classroom and the wider school community.
Responsibilities:
7. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Design and Technology, tailored to A Level students.
8. Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential, fostering a love for learning and a passion for design innovation.
9. Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
10. Assess and provide constructive feedback on student progress, ensuring their continual development and attainment of academic goals.
11. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment, contributing to the overall success of the department and the institution.
