Are you a graduate looking for your first role within finance?
We are currently seeking a confident and motivated Graduate Finance Assistant to join a growing finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to begin their career in finance within a supportive, structured environment that offers genuine progression.
You will be working within a close-knit team of 5, while also being part of a wider finance department of 30, gaining exposure to a broad range of finance activities and stakeholders across the business.
As a Graduate Finance Assistant, you will support the finance team with day-to-day financial operations while developing your technical skills and commercial understanding. This role is ideal for a proactive graduate who is keen to prove themselves and grow within a fast-developing finance function.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Assisting with month-end processes and reporting
2. Reconciliations of high volumes of payments
3. Processing invoices, reconciliations and journal entries
4. Maintaining accurate financial records and data
5. Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders
6. Ad-hoc analysis and project support as required
About You:
We are looking for a graduate who is eager to learn, confident in their approach, and motivated to build a long-term career in finance.
7. A recent degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related discipline
8. Strong numerical and analytical skills
9. High attention to detail and good organisational skills
10. A proactive mindset with a willingness to take responsibility
11. Good communication skills and the confidence to work within a team
