Jetting Technician / Drainage Engineer

Field-Based – Swansea/Cardiff/Newport and surrounding areas
Salary:
£28,682 to £31,182 per annum (depending on experience) + overtime

Permanent, Full-Time - Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week

Join our Operations & Maintenance team to help keep water networks flowing, using specialised jetting equipment to clear blockages across our regional network, including over 1,000 Ministry of Defence sites.
This field-based role involves troubleshooting, inspecting wastewater systems with CCTV, and performing high-pressure jetting and pipe repairs. You’ll communicate with customers effectively and document your work using mobile devices.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Executing reactive and proactive maintenance plans across wastewater networks
* Inspecting systems with technological tools like CCTV
* Using high-pressure water jetting equipment to clear blockages
* Performing low-level fixes and installing CIPP repairs
* Explaining work importance to customers in non-technical terms
* Documenting findings and work details via mobile IT devices
What You’ll Bring:
* Experience with high-pressure jetting equipment
* Drainage or plumbing maintenance experience (advantageous)
* IT literacy, including mobile devices and Microsoft Office
* Good physical fitness for working in confined spaces and all weather conditions
* Excellent communication skills
About You:
* UK residence for at least 5 years and able to obtain Security Vetting
* Valid driving license, comfortable driving vans and towing trailers (training available)
* Availability for occasional overnight stays
