Description
Full commercial leadership of a major responsive social housing contract
Oversight of multiple workstreams, including kitchens, bathrooms, roofing, and heating
Leading, managing, and developing the divisional commercial team
Cost control, valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts
Accurate financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting
Close collaboration with operational teams to support performance and margin delivery
Subcontractor procurement, payments, and commercial compliance oversight
Identification and mitigation of commercial risks and opportunities
Ensuring contract adherence and best‑practice commercial governanceProfile
A successful Divisional Commercial Manager should have:
Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor within responsive social housing
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams in a high‑volume environment
Strong track record in leading and developing commercial teams
Comprehensive understanding of social housing contracts and commercial frameworks
High level of commercial and financial acumen with strong analytical skills
