Our strength lies in combining technical excellence, governance leadership, and world-class project controls to deliver certainty in cost, schedule, quality, and safety on fast-paced, high-value developments.The OpportunityWe are currently providing PMC services for a major hyperscale data centre development and are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead delivery on behalf of our client.As Commercial Manager you will represent PM Group at the highest level, leading project commercial teams and ensuring successful end-to-end project execution within a complex, mission-critical environment.
Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
5. Lead contract administration and commercial management for a large-scale mission critical facility construction project
6. Review, negotiate, and manage construction contracts, subcontracts, and consultant agreements
7. Ensure compliance with contract terms, regulatory requirements, and company policies
8. Develop and implement change management processes, including evaluation of change orders and claims
9. Monitor project costs, forecasts, and cash flow to ensure commercial viability
10. Identify and mitigate contractual risks throughout the project lifecycle
11. Manage relationships with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders
12. Prepare monthly commercial reports and present to senior management
13. Lead contract close-out processes and final account negotiations

Qualifications

Key Requirements
14. Commercial management experience in a leadership or senior position in large-scale construction projects, ideally Mission Critical / Data Centres.
15. Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or related field
16. Strong understanding of construction law and contract administration
17. Experience with main construction industry standard forms of contract
18. Proficiency in contract risk assessment and mitigation strategies
19. Advanced negotiation and stakeholder management skills
20. Excellence in financial analysis and reporting
21. Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
22. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
23. Advanced negotiation skills
24. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
