We are looking for an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Head of Welsh to lead our thriving department
during a period of maternity leave.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with energy, creativity, and a genuine passion for the
Welsh language and culture to teach key stages 3, 4 and the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 and lead
on Welsh Language and Culture across the school. Our Welsh department is well-established, with a
strong track record of success and a team who are committed to helping every learner achieve their
best.
We are now looking for someone who can continue with this strength and help us to develop Welsh
across all areas of school life, working with colleagues to bring the language and culture into other
subjects and everyday experiences.
The ideal candidate will be a skilled teacher and an inspiring leader who can motivate others, think
ahead, and share our vision for raising the profile of Welsh across the school.
If you believe in the importance of Welsh in education and want to make a real difference, we would
love to hear from you.
